According to the Monroe County Sheriff’s Office, the crash occurred when Mark was driving his 1977 Chevrolet El Camino and attempted to exit a private driveway onto South Dixie Highway. His vehicle was involved in a collision with a southbound Chevrolet Silverado. Emergency responders arrived quickly and transported Mark to ProMedica Toledo Hospital, where he later succumbed to his injuries. The driver of the Silverado sustained serious injuries and was also taken to the hospital. Authorities continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding the fatal crash.
